Madame Brasserie & Café, Värnamo
BRASSERIE & CAFÉ
Madame Brasserie & Café on the new Gummifabriken site in Värnamo is currently the place for locals to meet. We are proud to say that EAB was involved in fitting out the restaurant, supplying a sliding door, steel fixtures and fittings and an access door. The brasserie opened in autumn 2017 and, as well as the restaurant, it also offers food to go and a shop, and bespoke event solutions such as conferences and buffet lunches.
Sliding door - a design feature
The 9-metre long sliding door supplied and installed by EAB is black in colour and is fully glazed in a specially designed check pattern with 5 rows of glass. The sliding door is both an attractive design feature and functions as a divider between the restaurant and the Chambre Separée conference room. The fully glazed design gives the conference room a lighter and more open feel, and allows people to see into the attractive restaurant area. The sliding doors can also be fully opened, so the conference room becomes part of the restaurant. In the conference area, EAB has also supplied and installed an access door in the same style as the sliding door.
Industrial look with modern touches
The inside of the restaurant has an industrial look with modern touches. "We're delighted with our interior design, and visitors have been extremely positive about the look and feel that we've created. The decor in the restaurant has been carefully planned to ensure that the ambience is appealing whatever the size of the group," says Annica Palmgren, MD of Madame Brasserie & Café.
EAB has also supplied and installed steel fittings for the restaurant's bar and for the shelving above the bar. Corten steel was sprayed with saltwater spray to give a rusty industrial look. The rusty look was then completed with moss green details.
Great to be involved in new environments
”We're delighted with the partnership. It's been great putting our flexibility and versatility to the test in producing our doors to the customer's requirements. Supplying to a different type of environment to the one we're used to has also been a really interesting learning curve for us, in terms of both design and production,” says EAB sales representative Lars-Göran Fahlén.
EAB does the job properly
The main reason EAB was chosen as a supplier was the steel components that we could supply and the desire to use local suppliers, but the customer was also inspired by EAB's previous projects. The partnership and the project were a success. "When we chose EAB we knew the job would be done properly. They provided excellent support throughout the project, and we're delighted with the holistic solution that they have provided,” concludes Annica Palmgren.
